Helen and Jenny said, “Oceanic tang. Tropical feel. The chocolate itself has a nice snap. The flavor of cupuaçu is present in the chocolate even if the candied bits are not in every bite.”

This chocolate maker uses only wild cacao, harvested where nature grows it. This bar has inclusions of crystallized cupuaçu, which is a tropical rainforest tree related to, but distinct from, cacao. Cupuaçu pulp has a scent that conjures chocolate and pineapple and is frequently used in juices and desserts.

The chocolate used in this bar comes from the Tocantins River, Pará.

The package comes with two bars of 40g each, totaling 80g of chocolate.
