Yellowfin has a more meaty flavor and chew than albacore, but we can’t call one better than the other, and highly recommend tasting similar cuts from the different fish side-by-side to better triangulate their individual features.

    This was my first time having Ventresca. This tin was beautifully packed and the fish were clean tasting and more firm than I expected. I was extremely hungry so I just ate them right out of the tin with a bit of fresh squeezed lemon juice and some crackers but I would buy again to jazz up in a meal of some sort. Probably a light/citrusy pasta dish. Long story short, this is a clean and simple tasting fish.
