Orange and clove go together, but do they go with tuna? They sure do. Probably our favorite tuna salad tin.

Fun & worthwhile. A step above a regular can of tuna in both flavor and moisture. The orange is mild in scent and taste, but it is still noticeable. Loved that you got a little bit of actual orange in the tin, easy to cut into small pieces and mix in. Pretty good on its own with a pinch of salt, but I found it best suited in tuna salad with a very small amount of mayo and diced red onion. Add it some Triscuits and you’ll be quite pleased with your meal. All in all, it’s worth your money if you want to get a little bit fancy with your tuna.

Went with the suggestion and made this into a little tuna salad with some mayo, green onion, lemon juice, hot sauce, orange zest, and S+P. Served on some bread toasted with the extra oil from the tin and some mashed avo. Insanely good! Will definitely be re-purchasing in the future.

I thought the tuna itself was wonderful with a great solid texture. The orange flavor was really nice and very pronounced. It was hard for me to imagine how the orange flavor would work in a tuna salad or another preparation. I ate it on it’s own and it was delightful.

I bought this after reading the reviews, imagining the perfect tuna salad sandwich I would make with it. First, I tried the fish alone and was pleasantly surprised by the balance of flavors. The orange aroma wasn’t bitter, and had a hint of juicy sweetness. The clove provided a depth of flavor paired with the orange that blew me away. I smashed the tuna with light mayo, green onion, pickled carrot and mustard and had it between two slices of toasted bread. A surprising, solid tin. Will purchase again just to enjoy the entire tin by itself!

This tin was interesting. The tuna was nice and flaked apart easily and the orange slice and the clove made a nice presentation upon opening the tin. I could taste the tuna, orange, and clove and overall it was a bit mild. For me, the clove was the strongest taste. It was something different so I’m happy I tried it but I probably wouldn’t buy this tin again. There is nothing bad about it, it’s good quality, tastes nice, and I did enjoy it as a change of pace but for myself, I prefer other flavors from this line better just due to my own taste preferences.

I hadn’t thought that orange and Clove of all things would pair with tuna, but I’m glad I gave this tin a try! I might order another tin of this to make it into a tuna salad, but it was also good on crackers with cream cheese! The orange and clove were nice, not overpowering

This to me is an ideal can. This is what other tuna dreams of being. The orange and clove are very fitting—and in a world where the additions in so many tins, such as piri piri peppers, lemon confit, garlic, aren’t even detectable in the finished product, these notes were satisfyingly present and accounted for. I had one third of the tuna straight up—delish—and the rest whipped into a tuna salad with shallots and quick-pickled cucumbers. So great!
