Espinaler Razor Clams 5/7 Premium Line, Sálvora Island

$32.00

Sálvora Island is on the outside of the Arousa Rias, the water surrounding the island is deep, and the tide changes every 6 hours.

Most Razor clams come from the sandbanks on the mouth of the Rias, where the water is shallower just a few meters deep, and less pure.

The oil that you see floating on the surface of the brine when you open a can of these razor clams is from the actual clam, showing the quality of the products and freshness when it was caught.

Espinaler began as a small tavern in Barcelona in 1896. Over time, they grew  beyond simply serving these delicacies to sourcing their own seafood in Galicia.

Espinaler makes selections at the peak of each season and hand packs tins to ensure the utmost care is taken. These selections will transport you to the Galician coast. Add a glass of vermouth, and you’ll be back at the very
beginning in Taverna Espinaler.

If you’re wondering if this is the company featured in that one episode of that one Bourdain show, it is.
