If you didn’t start with these and have never had these, your cultural education is incomplete until you have had them.
The standard against which all other tinned fish is judged. And in our opinion one of the best quality to dollar ratios you’ll ever find.

If you don’t have a daily driver sardine you just met it here. At this price point you’d be hard pressed to find a better tin of sardines. When I am lucky to have a handful of different sardine choices in my pantry I may go a few weeks without cracking a tin of these sprats… and then I open one up and remember how good they are.
I don’t like to judge other people, but if you don’t have at least a few of these tins in your pantry, you might be doing something wrong 🙂

Basic, cheap, yum. These are identical to the Tiny Tots (in case you prefer a bright yellow label to greet you in the pantry).
A little mushy in my opinion, but I can’t complain for the price. I’d mush these up on toast any day.

are these the absolute best sardines in the world? not exactly, but more importantly, are they cheap, easy to eat and always exactly the same when you need a good reliable can of essential fishy energy? hell yeah they are. these are the standard sardine in my pantry, the one i buy 3 or 5 of at a time, that i split between a bagel and a salad after martial arts or a hard workout to feel recharged. this is one others are judged against. they gotta be at least this good or its not a good can of fish.
