Olasagasti Lomo de atún encebollado (Tuna Fillet with Sauteed Onion and Balsamic Vinegar)


Designed to be heated and served with rice, noodles, or pasta, this is tuna loin with onions caramelized with balsamic–and if that doesn’t make your mouth water you might be in the wrong place.

The container is not suitable for the microwave. We suggest emptying the contents into a microwave safe dish and heating on medium for 1-2 minutes, or  several minutes in a bain marie, or as we most often do it, in a carefully watched and slowly stirred sauce pan.

    I LOVED this. Two medium-small filets, packed in a ton of onions. The whole thing was so flavorful, the balsamic had nice undertones, the onions added a complimentary sweetness. I ate this straight, I enjoyed it SO much.
