This tin contained 3 very plump sardines. The flesh was very firm, and flaked well. I tried this some Espinaler sauce, and also yellow mustard. Sometimes a sardine is just fine on a saltine. This is one of those Sardines. I will definitively buy these again.

Had this four fish tin sitting on the shelf for months and oh how I wish I got to it sooner! An excellent, savory, nearly buttery collection of large size sardines. Excellent on some toast with a little smear of aji amarillo paste. Classic lunch.

Yum. These chonkers–& I mean chonkers–delivered big taste. We sampled them straight out of the tin they barely fit into. There was barely any oil to pour off; the fish seemed to have absorbed just the right amount to keep them meaty. These seem perfect for an omelet or scramble or on a winter salad of bitter greens. I suppose might find them a bit too rustic. but hey, we’re peasants.
