Hands down the best tin of fish packed in water I have come across. The consistency is not like other water packed tins of liquid that runs off the solid pieces. It all holds together more like a custard. It does not make my teeth stick together like some species of water packed fish and is perhaps the most flavorful of all trout as well. Certainly up there with the Jose Gourmet in this regard. As the description tells, it holds up on its own, warm or cold and goes well with any veggies one would put in a salad. Moist meat, some skin and bones are present, bones adding a subtle crunch and thin, delicate skin providing an extra hit of flavor.
