Absolutely the perfect amount of truffle. Not overpowering on either scent or flavor, and it comes across as a pretty natural truffle flavor. Extremely satisfying and an ever-so-slightly better experience than the Sardinha truffled sardines since it has a little bit more oompf. Texturally, the tin has giant medium-soft fillets with very very nice flake. Great moisture. Note that you’ll get a few scales in Berthe tins but that’s pretty common when it comes to big chonkers like these.
It’s a luxury tin for sure, but this is one of those tins that I’ll happily treat myself with from time to time. Extremely satisfying, extremely delicious. Highly recommend!
