Les Mouettes d’Arvor Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Chili (Piri-Piri)


These will not be blazing hot, but you’ll get a little hint of spice on the lips and a bit as you chew. Flavoring agents in tinned seafood are typically hints and subtle notes, it’s a particularly American notion that extreme flavors should punch you in the mouth. These have a pleasant amount of zip, and a bit of clove and bay leaf rounds out the complex layering of flavors.
