The jarred tunas are a bit different in character than the tinned tunas. Both are loin pieces, but the tins are like cross-cut slices of the trunk of a three, and the jars have pieces that are more like if the trunk were cut into firewood lengths and then split. This makes them perfect for platters, or any purpose where the pieces are going to be on display. Piquillo peppers are sweet peppers, not hot.
