    I was anxious to try these sardines. I have to say I was not that impressed These had no flavor, I had expected some spicy notes. They are good with hot sauce or mustard.I most likely will not buy these again.

    Big, meaty, very mild. An excellent vehicle for hot sauce as they don’t have a ton of flavor on their own. High quality fillets without any noticeable scales. Would be great for a sardine sandwich! While I preferred the Briosa spiced sardines over these regular ones, I did enjoy the simplicity of this tin. If you love big ol’ pilchards in olive oil, then you should add this to your list.

    I found these a bit boring.
    Super fresh, but lacking everywhere else. It was hard to get these balanced in a meal without the dish losing the focus on the sardines.
    These simply were too mild for me and I more than likely won’t be purchasing these again. However, these are probably the perfect tin for those “afraid” of tinned fish; I can’t see these being offensive in any way.
