Cole’s (Coles) mussels are harvested from sustainable fishery found in the shallow waters of the Patagonian Region for Chile. They are double cleaned and smoked using a true hardwood smoke with a fragrant Applewood blend. We suggest you enjoy these lovely morsels with a glass of dry white wine and your favorite cracker. These are sure to be a hit at your next gathering, as they are with our Cole’s team.

Winner. Clearly high quality, capturing the true essence of mussels without going too far into funky ocean territory. Smoke levels were mild but detectable, I could enjoy these out of the tin on their own … but where they really shined (as with most mussels) was when you added a few extra ingredients. Tabasco was a nice flavor boost and not overwhelming, but it was Espinaler sauce that *really* took these up a notch. The acidity of the Espinaler complimented everything that was already there to begin with, turning these into a real delicacy. I’d put these right alongside the regular Patagonia smoked mussels in quality. Definitely worth purchasing.
