The entry point for many people into the world of Portuguese tinned fish. These are big 'dines, and meaty. Simple and classic, but not what we would call refined. Expect to see some scales and spines (for some that's a feature not a flaw). We consider these to be a decent middle-of-the road tin.

Spiced, here, means chili pepper (not blazing hot, just enough to let you know it's a hot pepper, as well as some pickled vegetables and a bit of clove.
