    Had these side-by-side with King Oscar Mackerel Filets in Olive Oil. These filets were much more defined, and the organic olive oil has more flavor than the KO olive oil. Even so, my preference is still with the KO filets. Better flesh, I say! Infinitely more moist.
    My partner & I did find ourselves dipping pieces of KO fish into the La Bonne Mer oil at the end of the cans though…

    I had everything prepped to eat these with crackers, and hot sauce, and a side of cheese… And somehow I just ate the entire tin straight with a fork without even thinking about the accoutrements. Delicious! Very subtle, very mild flavor, with a smooth and flavorful olive oil. I think it would be perfect on a salad if you want to add a protein without overpowering anything.
