    Sea Cucumber!

I didn’t even know this could be a food and I didn’t really know what to expect. They look a bit like calamari in the tin, but do not have that texture. It almost has the mouth texture of a green banana and the flavor itself is very delicate. A cracker will almost overpower the sea cucumber. I did try them with Espinaler Sauce and Balsamic drizzled on top. The Espinaler complimented them better, but definitely try it straight out of the tin.

I would say the flavor is between a crab and a clam or maybe similar to the fish cakes that you might find in a bowl of asian noodles.

Is it worth it? Of course. Now you can brag to your friends that you have eaten sea cucumber.
