When we first sampled this product we were stunned by the price, and even questioned it to be sure it was right. This is one of the best tinned salmon products on the market, and the price means it can be a daily driver.

Truly, truly special. Brings me great joy. If you love KO mediterranean mackerel (as many of us do), you won’t be let down by this tin. Everything about the olives and herbs is just as I expected … lots of ’em, brilliant flavor that really permeates the fish. Similar to the KO meditmack, this salmon has so much moisture than other canned salmon competition that it feels sort of unfair. It’s flaky, medium-soft, decadent, and seasoned perfectly.
This could quite possibly be my favorite canned salmon that exists today! Without price even being factored into the equation, I would *absolutely* choose this salmon it over much fancier tins like Fangst and Wildfish. The real question is … would I choose it over that beloved KO meditmack? For me, it honestly could depend on the day because they’re THAT similarly great. The thought that it can even be included in the same conversation is a compliment of the highest order. Just buy this. You deserve it.

Wow! So great for the price point! Moist, flavorful tin with the consistency you expect from KO. The extra goodies inside are spot on with their other Mediterranean options. I was expecting something to be lacking in this $5 ton of salmon, but I found nothing. The perfect daily driver with flavor kicked up a notch!

Really surprised these are just $5. Nice, meaty chunks in a light olive oil with a few slices of olives on top (as with other KO Mediterranean varieties). Very moist and tasty. There was more meat packed in here than I was expecting, especially at this price point. Definitely going to buy this again.

I’m not sure why grocery stores don’t carry more of this brand. This salmon was excellent! I added it to an omelet, and I don’t think I’d do that again, but on its own it was wonderful!
