When we first sampled this product we were stunned by the price, and even questioned it to be sure it was right. This is one of the best tinned salmon products on the market, and the price means it can be a daily driver.

Impressive and truly a daily driver candidate. Above average moisture and texture, even better moisture than the lemon version (perhaps due to the acidity?) of this same line. I’d not compare this texture to tuna – you really know that you’re eating salmon here. Seasoning was solid but those of us who are extra-salty will want to add a few extra flakes on top. Beautiful visually and the fillets have a great flake as you would hope for. I initially thought I’d eat this alongside some kimchi but ended up fully appreciating the flavor on its own.
Easily one of the best salmon tins that I’ve had – flavored or not, smoked or not. For this price?! Could be the holy grail for many of us, especially if you prefer your salmon to be unsmoked.

Think you might like salmon? Do you like olive oil? This tin holds outstanding examples of each. The salmon is moist and flaky, with a distinctive salmon flavor you won’t confuse for another fish. The olive oil makes itself known without being overbearing compared to the salmon. Salt levels are enough to eat on its own without detracting from the fish or on some vegetables makes a good pairing. One of the better KO products out there.
