    Hmm. Have to admit, these were a little underwhelming. Thin tomato sauce that was a little underseasoned (for my taste) and also somewhat … metallic, maybe? I’m not sure how to best describe the flavor other than just perhaps “not my preference.” The sardine texture was medium and slightly on the drier side but that’s generally the case with a tomato’d tin. Difficult to justify this tin at this price if you’ve had Pinhaus/Nuri tomato sardine tins and consider them to be the peak of the genre (as I do). For me, I think there’s a much better experience to be had with the other Lucas sardine varieties.
