Conservas de Cambados Small Sardines in Olive Oil 20/25

Our sardines have been selected for their quality, placed by hand and made in olive oil. They stand out for their silver appearance and magnificent presentation; bright and tasty, with a smooth and juicy texture that make this traditional preserve one of our most exquisite delicacies. Its flavor increases as time goes by due to the rest and maturation in our warehouses.

Delicate and tasty little fish. The pretty ones are placed at the top lol but all were nice looking. All fish were dense yet delicate if that makes sense. A slight saltiness made it very pleasant. Also had a very very slight dryness to it. Delicious little fish with quality olive oil that leaves a nice aftertaste. good can

These were absolutely amazing, I have tried several of the high end small sardines from this site now and this is far and away my favorite! I have had Espinaler, Ramon Pena, La Brujula and Yurrita, the last one being my favorite up until I tried these. They are firm but yield easily when bitten, they have a saltier profile reminiscent of the pollastrini sardines. The oil, oh my god, it instantly coats your lips. It is the slickest olive oil I have experienced in any tin to date. I have saved it for salad dressing. Do yourself a favor, if you have the money to splurge, try these. I ate them right from the tin to savor every salty, perfect bite! 10/10

Wonderful little tin that will appeal to basically everyone who enjoys small sardines. Texturally, these are an ideal medium with pleasant slightly-above-average moisture levels. Seasoning was excellent and certainly didn’t have me reaching for salt. The oil was happily *not* an afterthought either, as I found myself spinning each sardine in the oil before grabbing it with chopsticks. This tin is a splurge but the quality is pretty astounding. Had a really good time eating these straight from the tin and I’d be happy to eat these again.
