This tin, like most of the Japanese deenz are amazing to top onto a warm bowl of rice! perfect for a quick lunch or even breakfast!
Personally, I prefer the “thinness” of the shoyu sauce as it coats the entire bowl of rice!

This is a great tin. I found three big hunks and added them into a bowl of hot Tom
Yum soup. They warmed up in the broth. Even with the strong flavors of the soup, the flavor of the mackerel still shined through. The sweet soy sauce was delicious and the mackerel was meaty. Would be a great addition to many dishes or on their own.
