Delicious buttery French deens! Heated these in a pan and ate them with a baguette. Great texture and great flavor, but these are not an every day tin, definitely a once in a while special treat.

As advised I am dumping these into a skillet…
I have just opened the tin and didn’t even heat it yet and already there is a distinct aroma of garlic and herb butter…Nice!…
Placed in skillet open side down and when they dropped out of the tin I gently fried the contents…
Wow!…firm fish…fairly aggressive salt…garlic!…and herbs…Rich!…Decadent!…a distinct fish flavor that is pleasant and enjoyable…the salt could be toned down a bit for me…still…I believe this is the first tin where I actually tasted the garlic!
Screams French cuisine…Delicious!!!…
I served this on toasted Ciabatta Bread with a side of Creamed Yukon Gold Potatoes, with a green salad of Mustard Greens and Red Lettuce, topped with an Avocado Dressing…
All washed down with a Domaine Jean Perrier – Savoie Apremont (AOP) – Altus Le Vin des Sommets – Apremont Vieilles Vignes – 2022.
Excellent meal…
This tin is just wow…the best French tin I have had…worth the cost and then some…to buy again…just Wow!…
