The entry point for many people into the world of Portuguese tinned fish. These are big ‘dines, and meaty. Simple and classic, but not what we would call refined. Expect to see some scales and spines (for some that’s a feature not a flaw). We consider these to be a decent middle-of-the road tin.

    These are fairly good sized sardines. They were a substantial lunch for me. They were good on a saltine cracker with mustard. I will try Porthos again. Maybe some of there other offering.
