The zippier version of the sauce that made Espinaler famous. Cayenne is the pepper in this one. For when you want to kick it up a half a notch.
Ingredients: vinegar, red pepper, cayenne pepper and spices

I love hot sauce. Mild hot sauce, complex hot sauce, hot sauce that gives you an adrenaline rush, hot sauce that you regret you ate but you keep going back for more – that type of hot sauce love. Take a look at my review of the regular Espinaler sauce for my general thoughts on their simple vinegar-based sauce….
Compared to the regular Espinaler sauce, this one is definitely a bit spicier, but not remotely spicy enough to bother a non-chili-head. I like this sauce, and I use it often, though it really does just seem like Espinaler sauce with a bit of cayenne in it. I suppose it might be possible to try to make your own by adding some cayenne to some of the standard sauce, but if you like a good vinegar-based sauce and you like a touch of heat to liven things up, why not see how the experts decided to do it?

Delicious pepper vinegar. I wouldn’t call it hotter exactly–maybe warmer is more like it–but there’s a noticeable uptick in pepper flavor from the standard Salsa Espinaler. Both equally delicious to top eggs, fish sandwiches, fish on toast, fish on crackers, fish straight from the tin… Give it a good shake and dash away.
